Street Scene and Local History
Calle Tabanera connects Provincial Routes 92 and 90 in Colonia Las Rosas. Intertwined tree canopies frame the road; Calle Tabanera invites visitors to stop and enjoy the surroundings. The connection between the two provincial routes provides a clear landmark, while the tree canopies shape the character of the road.
The sculpture “Las Rosas de Colonia” is a tribute to the flower that inspired the name of the district. The work is by Oscar Pintos, an artist from Tunuyán, and is located in Colonia Las Rosas on Provincial Route 92, at the Varela bend. The dedication links the artwork to the history behind the district’s name; the road and bend specify its location.
