Posada Salentein is located on Finca La Pampa, within Espacio Salentein in the Tunuyán Department of Mendoza Province. It has 14 guest rooms surrounded by gardens and vineyards, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool with views of the Andes. Keep the pool’s seasonal availability in mind when choosing when to travel.
Wine experiences with different focuses
The wine experiences vary in their tours and tasting focuses. “Experience La Pampa” includes a tour of the barrel room and ends with an exclusive tasting in the main hall. “Experience Luxury” includes a guided tour of the vineyards, production areas, and underground wine cellar, along with a tasting of four wines. “Experiencia Malbec Valle de Uco” combines a tour of the vineyards, production areas, and barrel room with a tasting of five single-vineyard Malbecs.
“Blending Sessions” include a tour of the vineyards, winery, and barrel room, followed by a tasting of different grape varieties. When choosing a tasting focus, these different varieties can be compared with the five single-vineyard Malbecs featured in the Valle de Uco experience; “Experience Luxury” includes four wines. For a stronger focus on origin, “Experiencia Malbec Valle de Uco – IG Single Vineyard Malbec” explores different vineyard terroirs in IG San Pablo, at an altitude of more than 1,300 meters. Availability and schedules for experiences may vary; check the latest details before planning.
Art, winery, and history
In 1997, Salentein planted the Malbec vineyard at Finca La Pampa; it was one of Mendoza’s first vineyards at an altitude of 1,300 meters. The “25 cosechas” experience offers a different historical perspective, tracing the winery’s story from its beginnings as a pioneer in the Valle de Uco to the present day.
Espacio Killka is Bodegas Salentein’s cultural, artistic, and gastronomic center. It includes art spaces, a restaurant, an auditorium, a room for corporate events, and a wine shop. A Salentein experience includes a tasting of four glasses from the Salentein Reserva and Numina ranges, as well as access to the Killka art gallery. A full-day experience includes a private gallery tour, tours of the vineyards and winery, a tasting of premium wines, a blind tasting, and a multi-course lunch at the Espacio Salentein restaurant. Reservation details may change; check them before planning.
