Breidanloppet, a cross-country run, is also part of the festival, with a 600-metre distance and routes of 3, 5, 10 and 18 kilometres. Club Training and Tournaments
IFFK’s disc golf group trains mainly outdoors in spring and autumn, on the grass fields in Markusböle and also on courses elsewhere in Åland. If you are planning around this activity, the time of year is an important consideration: spring and autumn are the specified seasons for training on the local grass fields.
Finströmskamraterna’s football tournaments are held on natural grass in Markusböle, Finström. IFFK athletics has a specific weekly schedule: training takes place outdoors in Markusböle (Breidablick) on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 pm. From October, the time and location change; training then takes place at Godbyhallen. The details therefore vary by activity: the season matters for disc golf, while athletics has a weekly schedule and a change of venue from October.
