OneFest gives Cadott an annual occasion for music trips, while also offering connections to cultural and river-related themes. This gives you different priorities to choose from when planning your trip: a specific event date or places focused on history and the river. Cadott is located at the intersection of Highways 27 and 29. When looking for accommodation, first decide whether OneFest, Nabor Days, or museums, memorials and the Yellow River are your main draw.

Music and Events

OneFest is an annual three-day Christian music festival in Cadott. Numerous well-known artists perform on two different stages. If Christian live music is the reason for your trip, you can plan your stay around the festival.

Nabor Days is Cadott’s four-day main event. The program includes a Sunday parade along Main Street and fireworks over Riverview Park. At four days, Nabor Days lasts one day longer than the three-day OneFest. Dates and artists at OneFest may change from year to year, as may the event schedule for Nabor Days. So check the latest details for your preferred travel dates.

Museums and Local History

The Baker School Museum is located in Riverview Park on Highway 27. Built in 1865, the one-room schoolhouse became the first school museum in Chippewa County. A one-room schoolhouse is a school building with a single classroom; this provides a direct way to understand the historic building style. Its construction date and distinction also connect the site to local school history.

The Cadott Area Historical Society Museum displays furniture, agricultural equipment, clothing, musical instruments, medical equipment and other historical artifacts. Its topics range from everyday life and work to music and medicine, offering different points of interest for anyone wishing to explore multiple aspects of history. The exhibits on display may change.

River, Park and Memorials

The Yellow River runs through Cadott. Riverview Park brings together several different amenities: ball fields, sports fields, playground equipment and river access for launching canoes. The park is therefore a specific place to visit if you’d like to include sports and play areas as well as a canoe launch in your stay. Park amenities and canoe-launch conditions may change; if you plan to use them, check the latest information before your visit.

The Wisconsin Veterans Tribute comprises five well-known memorials in Cadott. Two iron replicas of bronze M1835 12-pounder mountain howitzers are on display there. The materials distinguish the originals from the replicas: iron refers to the displayed replicas, while bronze refers to the howitzers they represent. Alongside the number of memorials, this gives the tribute a specific connection to military history.
