W. H. Willoughby Park is located on Little Lake Weir in Summerfield and has a walking trail. Other interests to consider when planning include golf with two clearly distinct course profiles, handcrafted wines and live comedy. It may help to consider whether time outdoors, golf, local winemaking or entertainment is most important to you.
Take a walk at Little Lake Weir
W. H. Willoughby Park is a specific option for an activity on foot. It is located on Little Lake Weir in Summerfield and has a walking trail. If you’d like to include time outdoors in your stay, you can plan to visit the trail as an activity in its own right. This sets the park apart from the golf options: the focus here is a walking trail in a lakeside park. As you narrow down your options, consider whether you’d rather plan a walk or a round of golf.
Compare golf courses by size
The two golf clubs differ in the size and type of their courses. Eagle Ridge Golf Club has four golf courses with a total of 36 holes. Broad Stripes Golf & Social Club is a public 18-hole championship golf course. If you’re choosing based on the number of courses, Eagle Ridge has four; Broad Stripes is the option to consider for a public 18-hole championship course. This can help you decide whether having multiple courses or the explicitly stated public championship designation matters more to you.
Eagle Ridge Golf Club welcomes visitors and members. As visitor conditions may change, check the latest information before planning a specific visit. Since 1999, the club has offered a golfing experience to residents of Summerfield and The Villages. The golf offering thus combines a long-running focus with two explicitly named communities.
Winemaking and live comedy
Dragon Flower Winery is located in Summerfield and makes handcrafted wines on site. Ingredients used in these wines include honey, strawberries and blueberries. If you’re interested in local production and specific ingredients, you can make wine a focus of your trip. This adds a culinary theme to the outdoor and golfing options.
The Joke Joint is a live comedy and entertainment club that showcases talent from across the country. Live entertainment is another option to add to your itinerary. The specific commercial program may change; if you want to plan around a particular performance, check the latest program information in advance.
Find a hotel that suits your stay
For golf, you can compare options by the number and type of courses; the walking trail, winemaking and comedy appeal to different interests. If visitor access at Eagle Ridge Golf Club or a particular performance at The Joke Joint is important to your plans, check the latest visitor or program information. That way, you can tailor your search for hotels in Summerfield to the kind of stay you actually have in mind.
