Phuket Aquarium: Aquatic species and a nature trail

Phuket Aquarium displays freshwater and saltwater species across 13 exhibition areas. The exhibits are organised by theme and include species from both aquatic environments. The final area leads along a nature trail through the forest and offers views of the coast at Cape Panwa. The visitor route thus shifts from aquatic life to a landscape perspective. Phuket Aquarium was established on 10 September 1983.

Khao Khad Viewpoint: Panoramic views across Phuket

At Khao Khad Viewpoint, the focus is on 360-degree views of the Andaman Sea and the landscape around Phuket. The panorama includes Chalong Bay, Cape Panwa, Ko Sire and Phuket Town, among other places. These named locations bring the panoramic view into focus: alongside the sea, it takes in several specific parts of the landscape.
