Sustainable Travel

“There is only one earth and we should go out and see it. I like hotels, which look for sustainability. It is not only protecting the ecology, but also taking care for the local business and culture. I recommend the medal for eco accomodation. Let’s protect our earth. Sustainable travel is travelling with responsibility.”

Golf, fitness and wellness each offer a different focus in La Envía. The connection to the landscape is especially clear at La Envía Golf: the course is located on the slopes of the Sierra de Gádor, offering excellent views of the Bay of Almería. If you are looking for accommodation, you can first consider whether golf, fitness or a spa visit will shape your stay.

Golf between the Sierra and the bay

An oasis of palm trees, prickly pears and native shrubs surrounds La Envía Golf. Together with its hillside location and views, this vegetation gives the golf course a strong connection to the landscape. It was designed by Francisco Mendoza Montero. This means the golf offering can be considered not only in terms of the sport, but also its location and design. If you are considering golf as the main reason for your trip, you can take these points into account when choosing your destination.

The La Envía golf school is for girls and boys aged 5 to 16. If you are travelling with younger companions, this age group provides a specific starting point for planning. Program details may change seasonally, so if you are considering taking part, check the current offering in advance.

Fitness without an overnight stay

You do not need to stay overnight at HOTEL ENVÍA ALMERÍA SPA & GOLF to use the fitness area at Gimnasio La Envía. There are also membership categories for local residents; membership conditions may change. Fitness access and hotel accommodation are therefore not automatically linked. If you are considering a membership, check the current terms and conditions.

The fitness room covers 500 square metres and is equipped with Technogym equipment. Supervised activities take place in two air-conditioned rooms; the class programme may change. The facilities and guided activities provide different points to consider when planning: if you are interested in a particular offering, check in advance whether it is currently on the programme.

Spa and wellness

The spa and wellness centre at HOTEL ENVÍA ALMERÍA SPA & GOLF is located in Urbanización La Envía Golf and covers 5,000 square metres. The offering includes beauty treatments and a spa circuit. If you choose wellness as your main focus, you can use these specific offerings as a guide. The areas differ considerably: at 5,000 square metres, the spa is ten times the size of the 500-square-metre fitness room.
