Brzozów brings together sacred art, architectural history and urban history. The Minorite Basilica is home to a permanent museum exhibition of the parish’s sacred collection, as well as annual thematic exhibitions. The 19th-century town hall defines the town centre around the market square. Nearby, the “Brzozów-Zdrój” nature and educational trail adds a focus on forests and nature to the cultural attractions.
Minorite Basilica: Collection and Seasonal Exhibitions
The Minorite Basilica of the Transfiguration dates from the 17th century and features a Baroque interior. The church houses an image of Our Lady of Fire. Visitors can also access a permanent museum exhibition of sacred items from the parish collection. The church, the image and the parish collection offer different ways to explore this site: through its architectural history, religious art and the collection itself.
The basilica hosts annual thematic and seasonal temporary exhibitions: regional Christmas cribs in December and January, and Easter palms in March and April. The permanent exhibition is therefore distinct in timing from the recurring annual themed exhibitions. If a particular exhibition is to determine the timing of your trip, check the specific dates in advance.

Town Hall, Museum and Historic Buildings
The centrally located 19th-century town hall defines Brzozów’s market square. It houses the Adam Fastnacht Regional Museum. Its exhibitions cover archaeology, ethnography and the history of Brzozów. The town hall’s architecture and several aspects of local history thus come together in one building, though they offer different perspectives on the town.
The former building of the Missionary Priests’ college dates from 1746–1760; today it houses the district court. The former building of the “Sokół” Gymnastics Society is also part of Brzozów’s architectural history: it is an Art Nouveau building and is now used as a cultural centre. The two buildings illustrate different present-day uses for historic buildings. In the wider Brzozów destination, the Brzozowski Dom Kultury and Sokół Cinema add to the cultural offerings: the cultural centre offers music, dance and art classes led by experienced instructors. The cinema screens award-winning festival and Oscar films as part of its “Studyjna Środa” series.
