Ksawerów can be explored through a variety of details: Willa Hoffmana at the main crossroads, the architectural history of the Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa, the roses of Aflopark and two quest formats. Local themes thus range from architecture and local history to a route with puzzles or a bike ride. If you are looking for accommodation for your stay, you can first decide whether culture, gardens or activities should be the focus of your trip.

Willa Hoffmana and local history

Willa Hoffmana stands in the centre of Ksawerów, at the main crossroads. It was built by Łódź factory owner Rudolf Hoffman. After 1945, the building became the seat of the municipal office. The villa therefore reflects both its builder and a later municipal use. These are two distinct points of reference for local history: the building’s origins and its function after 1945.

Church: older roots, modern building

The present-day Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa traces its origins to a Catholic chapel brought here by the Kindler family in the 19th century. The current church building is modern and constructed from reinforced concrete and bricks; it was designed by architect Juliusz Seweryn. Bishop Józef Rozwadowski consecrated the church on 5 November 1978.

The chapel’s history, the construction methods and the consecration relate to different aspects of the church: the Kindler family is connected with its origins, while the materials and design describe the present-day building. The exact date of the consecration adds a clear historical reference point to this story. If you are interested in architecture and local history, you can consider both the church’s older roots and its modern design.

Aflopark: roses on the Ksawerów side

Aflopark, also known as Ogrody Grażyny i Andrzeja Furmanów, lies on the border between Pabianice and Ksawerów. A 0.8-hectare section is on the Ksawerów side. Roses dominate this section: it has more than 158 rose varieties, with nearly 3,500 roses planted in 12 beds in total.

The area and rose collection give the Ksawerów section of the park a distinct garden focus. The layout and planting may change over time. If particular rose varieties are important to your visit, check the latest information beforehand.

Two quests, two ways to explore

The free quest “Śladem wojny i sztuki po Ksawerowie” is an outdoor game with a set route. You solve puzzles and look for clues; no guide or advance registration is required. The format combines outdoor activity with a task along the way.

There is also a cycling quest through Ksawerów and Wola Zaradzyńska. The route is about 13 kilometres long and takes approximately 75 minutes. The two activities have different emphases: the outdoor game centres on puzzles and clues, while an approximate distance and duration are given for the cycling quest. This lets you choose the format that better suits your interest in a puzzle route or a bike ride.

Another activity option is AIR JUMP Ksawerów. The trampoline park offers a variety of trampoline attractions for people of all ages. It adds a different kind of activity to the historical, garden and route-related themes.
