Manire on the Río Manire

The Río Manire is in the Manire-Coperma sector, next to the Interoceanic Highway. Its water is clear; the sound of the river is considered relaxing. A 2021 description places the Río Manire 15 minutes from Camanti Quincemil.

Staying near Soqtapata

Soqtapata Lodge is the only accommodation within the Soqtapata Reserve. It is next to the CIDS (Conservation, Investigation & Development Station). In the Camanti community, the lodge can only be reached on foot from the road via a guided trail; the walk is listed as taking 45 minutes. As trail conditions may vary, it is advisable to check the latest information before setting out.

The 15 minutes in the 2021 description refers to the Río Manire and Camanti Quincemil; the 45 minutes refers to the guided walk from the road to the lodge.
