Beau Champ and Anahita Beau Champ
A description from 2018 characterizes Beau Champ as a small hamlet that was then administered by the GRSE Village Council. The Anahita Beau Champ project is located nearby. It covers 118 hectares, lies next to the Anahita Estate, and is considered an extension of the Anahita destination. The project site is situated between a lagoon and mountains.
What the project plans to include
The project plans to restore historic buildings on site, including an old sugar mill. Former stone molasses tanks are intended for use as a café, restaurant, or grocery shop selling produce from the farm. The plans link the preservation of the sugar mill with a new use for the tanks, bringing historic buildings and planned amenities together in the project.
A palm-lined pedestrian avenue is also planned along a former irrigation canal. It is intended to serve as a central connection for residents and visitors. The landscape settings also differ: the avenue is planned along the canal, while the beach and boat club is intended to offer experiences on the lagoon to the east. Thus, a planned pedestrian route and a planned lagoon experience sit alongside one another.
The beach and boat club is intended for residents of Anahita Beau Champ; the planned boat park is aimed at residents of the region. The target groups for the developments therefore differ: the avenue is intended for residents and visitors, while the club and boat park are for the respective groups of residents named. As these are project plans, check which of them have been completed and are accessible at the time of your trip before making specific travel arrangements.
