Local coverage from 2023 also noted that the busiest time was late afternoon through evening, especially on Saturday evenings. Fruit Picking in Kampung Agrinek

On 27 June 2025, Kampung Agrinex was presented as an agrotourism destination in Kampung Agrinek, Desa Cikeusik, Kecamatan Cikeusik, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Banten. On that day, visitors to Kampung Agrinek could pick oranges and longans, among other fruits. Under the arrangement described, the picked fruit had to be weighed before eating; payment was made under the tree. Before visiting, check whether the fruit is available seasonally and whether weighing and payment still work this way.

The two activities differ in their timing: a time-of-day pattern from 2023 has been recorded for the Breakwater, whereas fruit picking was described for a specific day and is available seasonally. So check current visiting hours and fruit availability before planning a fixed date.

The Wider Pandeglang Area

In the wider destination of Pandeglang, cultural and culinary themes complement the natural attractions. Caringin Cemetery has historical and religious significance and is a religious tourism destination associated with Syeh Asnawi Caringin in Kabupaten Pandeglang. Angeun lada is also part of the regional cuisine: this traditional soup from Pandeglang contains chopped beef offal, shallots, palm sugar, red chilies, and other spices. Although it is described as a spicy soup, it is not spicy; it is served in many restaurants in Kabupaten Pandeglang.

A distinct landscape highlight in Pandeglang is Ujung Kulon National Park. It lies in the Kecamatan of Sumur and Cimanggu and covers 122,955 hectares, including 78,619 hectares of land and 44,337 hectares of marine area. It can be reached by charter boat from Pantai Carita or by road via Labuan, driving to Tamanjaya or Sumur. Check road and sea conditions before setting out.

Gunung Pulosari is a 1,346-metre-high stratovolcano in Kampung Mandalawangi, Desa Cilentung, Kecamatan Pulosari, Kabupaten Pandeglang. The Cihunjuran route to the summit starts at Basecamp Cafe Sisi Sungai in Kampung Cihunjuran, Kecamatan Mandalawangi, Kabupaten Pandeglang. Hot steam escapes from cracks in the rock at the crater; fumarolic activity is visible. After the climb, visitors use natural hot springs in the area around the mountain for bathing.
