The Telford Town Park Local Nature Reserve covers a 92-hectare part of the larger Telford Town Park. The park has more than 14 miles of cycle-friendly footpaths that pass ponds and lakes and run through meadows, heathland and woodland. The paths offer a variety of landscapes to consider when choosing between a walk and a bike ride.

The cultural trail and nature trail run alongside each other, inviting you to explore and learn about the park’s heritage. This brings nature and the park’s history together in one trail offering, without requiring you to choose between two separate themed trails.

A different kind of hiking option is the Telford T50 Walking Trail: this 50-mile circular route is divided into seven stages. Its route passes through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, five Sites of Special Scientific Interest and 14 Local Nature Reserves.
