Circular Trails with Different Themes
The 13-kilometer circular trail in the Alsterland has 26 nature discovery stations. They invite you to explore the animals and plants in hedgerows, forests and the Glasmoor. The focus is therefore on these habitats and their plant and animal life.
The circular trail in the Tarpenbek lowlands is eight kilometers long and has 17 nature discovery stations. Bats, insects and birds take center stage, especially around bodies of water and the edges of settlements. Compared with the Alsterland circular trail, it has a different length and its own thematic focus.
The hiking loop between the moors runs through northeastern Norderstedt and complements the themed routes. It is approximately ten kilometers long. Bear in mind that this is an approximate distance when comparing the loop with the other routes described.
The seven-kilometer Klangrundweg (Sound Trail) can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Along the route are 13 sound installations and information boards with explanations. The trail is accessible and suitable for strollers and wheelchair users. If you require specific assistance, check the information again in advance.
