For a stay in Westfeld, cross-country skiing, winter hiking and longer hikes can be considered as different priorities. In Westfeld-Ohlenbach, the Hochsauerland Cross-Country Skiing Centre offers machine-groomed trails for classic technique and skating. Available trails and snow conditions may vary; check conditions before planning a specific cross-country skiing trip.

Cross-country skiing and hiking in different seasons

Information about the trails includes maps, length, snow depth and difficulty level. You can use these details to plan your outings and choose between classic technique and skating. Westfeld-Ohlenbach also offers a Sauerland landscape of green meadows, sunny valleys and extensive forests. Hiking is one option in summer; in winter, there are winter hiking trails as well as groomed cross-country ski trails. The options therefore change with the season: summer trails offer a different focus from cross-country skiing and winter hiking.
