This makes it possible to compare the two routes by length; the Steinbachtal trail also features a series of specific stations: wobble bridges, a climbing buck, a climbing tower and climbing ladder, a tyre swing tower, seesaws, round-log paths, a rocky section in the Steinbach stream and many rest areas. Forest knowledge and fairy-tale adventure trail

The forest information trail in the holiday resort of Machtlos focuses on the tree and shrub species found there. There are 25 information boards along the trail; a large information wall with illustrated panels also covers native animals and birds. If you enjoy exploring nature topics while out and about, you will find information here on both woody plants and a broader range of animal and bird life.

The fairy-tale adventure trail starts at the car park for hikers at the Ronshausen holiday park in the holiday resort of Machtlos, Bellersberg 11. It is combined with a geocaching route. Hiking passport and cycle route

Eight circular hiking trails in Ronshausen and the holiday resort of Machtlos are part of a hiking passport for earning the Ronshausen hiking badge. If you would like to include the hiking badge, check the current passport and badge conditions in advance.

There is also an option for visiting Machtlos by bike: a cycle route runs through the Machtlos valley and allows you to make a detour to the holiday resort.
