Compared with the 50-metre pool at the natural swimming pool, the sports pool is shorter, but offers varying depths and is complemented by a teaching pool. Lechtalbad also has a 63-metre giant slide, a baby and children’s area, a play and mud area, a diving board, a 2.60-metre-high diving rock and a beach volleyball court. Beginners can discover, practise and play Disc Golf at three stations with a variety of game formats in Kaufering Forstgarten. Circuit around Lake Kaufering

As well as offering scenic views, the circuit around Lake Kaufering provides insight into the function of the reservoirs. From Dam 18, the circuit offers panoramic views of the reservoir and the Ammergau Alps. The parish church of St. John the Baptist in Alt-Kaufering is one of the most significant church buildings in the district.
