In the rural area of Mesa de los Santos, the Mercado Campesino offers a wide selection of handicrafts from Los Santos and the Chicamocha Canyon region as a whole. Guane culture offers another historical perspective: numerous remains have been found in the municipality, including tools, pottery, bowls, vessels with composite silhouettes, containers and rock paintings.

Climbing, Trails and the Canyon

For climbing enthusiasts, La Mojarra is very close to the town center of the municipality of Los Santos. Parque de Escalada La Mojarra has more than 70 designated climbing routes. If climbing is your main focus, you can plan La Mojarra as a separate activity; check current access conditions before your visit. The Camino Real Los Santos–Jordán offers a different kind of route: the winding trail is 5.5 kilometers long and connects the municipality of Los Santos with the town center of Jordán. The Teleférico del Parque Nacional del Chicamocha route offers panoramic views, crosses a canyon and is 6.3 kilometers long. It is considered unique in the world.
