Routes and fishing

The ZEC de la Rivière Nouvelle is located in the area around Nouvelle and includes six fishing areas along almost 80 km of river. Sport fishers can fish for Atlantic salmon and sea trout there. The ZEC therefore offers a distinct fishing focus in the surrounding area and is geographically separate from the ATV and snowmobile trails located in Nouvelle. Anglers are advised to check regulations and seasons before traveling. This makes it possible to plan a fishing visit as a separate item alongside a visit to the park and activities in town.
