Presidente Nereu, in Santa Catarina, lies within the Atlantic Rainforest. Two rural farms and Serra do Itajaí National Park connect a stay here with nature. Agritourism in the municipality

Sítio Colina is in the settlement of Rio Bandeira and is part of the Acolhida na Colônia project, which promotes ecological agritourism. Sítio Vida Nova is on Estrada Barrinha. These are two distinct provider locations. Their mention does not mean that either currently offers overnight stays, tours or meals. Confirm services, prices and reservations directly before visiting. Presidente Nereu is also featured on the regional tourism portal Caminhos do Alto Vale; its listing does not replace checking the specific offering.

National park with different use areas

Serra do Itajaí National Park covers around 57,529 hectares of Atlantic Rainforest and extends into Presidente Nereu. Depending on the public-use area, its management plan lists recreation, picnicking, hiking, cycling, swimming and nature observation. This does not mean that every activity is permitted everywhere in the park. Choose an official access point and check current conservation rules, trail conditions and opening hours. Given the park’s size, describing accommodation in general as “near the national park” is imprecise.
