Thanks to its tourism infrastructure and connections, Yacuíba is the main visitor reception and distribution hub for tourists in the Bolivian Chaco destination. From Mirador La Cruz, the view looks out over the city; nearby is Aguayrenda, where history and Guaraní culture offer another point of interest. Together, these two places offer different perspectives on the Bolivian Chaco: a city view in Yacuíba and cultural connections in Aguayrenda.

Mirador La Cruz offers panoramic views of Yacuíba. Vegetation and wild birds surround the viewpoint. The panoramic view focuses on the city, while the vegetation and wild birds shape the character of the surroundings.
Aguayrenda is located near Yacuíba. Fray Cristóbal Luengo founded a religious mission there on August 17, 1773. Today, Aguayrenda is a titled Guaraní community. Guaraní traditions are also seen there during Carnival. As a tourist destination in the Chaco, Aguayrenda is also associated with Arete Guazú, considered a major Carnival festival. Thus, the historical founding of the mission and contemporary Guaraní connections exist side by side.
