Two past tours explored different themes in Los Corralitos: vegetable processing at ExpoVerde and wine at Bodega Cavas del 23. A program by Paseo de Arte Los Corralitos added art, storytelling, music and dance. These activities offer different ways to explore Corralitos according to your travel interests. Check current dates for tours and events before your trip.
Vegetables and Wine in Los Corralitos
ExpoVerde is based in Los Corralitos, where it produces, packages and distributes vegetables. During a bus tour to Guaymallén, participants visited the facilities and learned about the company’s entire workflow. The visit drew attention to several steps in vegetable production and processing, not just the finished product.
On a cycling tour through Guaymallén, participants rode to Bodega Cavas del 23 in Los Corralitos. There, they took a guided tour, tasted the winery’s wines and listened to live music by an ensemble from the Orquesta Municipal de Guitarras Tito Francia. Unlike the visit to ExpoVerde, this tour focused on the winery, wine tasting and music. Both tours are past examples; if you would like to plan a similar visit, check in advance whether dates are currently available.
Art and Events
At one edition of Paseo de Arte Los Corralitos, Oscar Reina created visual art live as part of “Muestras al sol.” The program also included oral storytelling by Sergio MartĂnez; contemporary music by Celina Galdame; Latin American rhythms by Charly Pereira, Nicolás Palma and Nahuel JofrĂ© of the Orquesta Municipal de Guitarras Tito Francia; and malambo dancing by women from the Etnia group. The event brought visual art, storytelling, several musical styles and dance together in one program.
Food and Drink in the Wider Guaymallén Department
Beyond Los Corralitos, the Guaymallén Department offers an agricultural and gastronomic setting. The department is an important vegetable-growing area, leads the Cuyo region in vegetable and horticultural production, and forms part of Argentina’s second-largest green belt. Several wineries in Guaymallén are open to visitors. Visitors can learn about the winemaking process and taste wines there. Participating businesses may change, so check the specific visit options in advance.
Guaymallén’s Bicitour program combines cycling with cultural activities: an edition in 2024 passed through various districts and ended at a winery with a tasting. Also in 2024, ten editions of “De la Bodega a tu Resto” were held. The series included tastings at various restaurants in the department and aimed to promote its gastronomic offerings and wineries. Another municipal program, “El camino de las burbujas,” featured weekly tastings with changing themes in squares and green spaces. Before traveling, check whether this program is taking place during your stay.
The “Burbujas y Sabores” tours took participants to Finca El Sauce, in the Guaymallén district of the same name. The farm produces gourmet vegetables using hydroponic cultivation. This, too, is an example from the wider department: it offers a distinct perspective on regional food production alongside the vegetable business in Los Corralitos.
Culture and Getting Around the Department
In 2025, the municipal “Recorridos con historia” program offered guided walks to historic and heritage sites in Guaymallén. The Monumento al Cancionero Cuyano by artist Elio Ortiz and Casa Museo Molina are in Guaymallén’s founding area. In 2023, the music and dance program “Patios de Guaymallén” brought free outdoor events to various locations throughout the department. The 2023 program at Espacio Cultural Julio Le Parc also included literature for a broad audience.
Opening hours can help you plan specific cultural stops: According to information current as of September 2026, Salas de Arte Libertad, at Libertad 466 in Villa Nueva, was open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Centro Cultural Pascual Lauriente, at Bandera de Los Andes 8956 in Rodeo de la Cruz, was open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Check the opening hours again before your visit. A 2026 municipal route report named Espacio Cultural Julio Le Parc, next to the old railway station, as the starting point for a Bicitour.
Plan Your Trip and Accommodation
