Las Tapias lies between rivers and mountain forests; the Boca del Río reservoir is the final holding basin of the Río Los Sauces. The activities on offer each offer a different focus for your stay.

Water and Landscape

Non-motorized water sports are practiced at Boca del Río. This restriction is helpful when planning if you are looking specifically for an activity on the water: the focus is on non-motorized options, and operating conditions may vary. So check what is currently available before your visit.

Malbec and Local Culture

At Finca Las Breas, the production tour begins in the Malbec vineyard and then continues to the production facility. This sequence connects the start in the vineyard with a visit to the facility, giving the tour a specific focus on cultivation and production. If wine is one of your travel interests, this tour is a separate activity you can add to your plans. Check current visiting options in advance.

The Festival Provincial del Ladrillo takes place every year in Las Tapias and combines musical performances with gastronomy. If you would like to plan your trip around it, check the dates and program in advance. Casa de la Cultura La Rosadita hosts theatrical performances and musical events. A festival visit and the cultural center’s program are therefore different ways to experience culture in Las Tapias; also check the cultural center’s current program before your visit.

For a meal, Las Tapias has a few snack bars and casual eateries serving quick meals, as well as a few grill restaurants. This gives you different types of dining to choose from. The range of commercial offerings may change, so check locally to see which places are available.
